With a membership of over 100 university students from across the region, particularly Erbil, the group focused on advocating for student rights, promoting youth and student engagement in public life, preventing political interference within universities, and enhancing the educational and living conditions for students. To achieve these objectives, Chawy Zanko organized protests, gatherings, public statements, seminars, and conferences, solidifying its role as a key voice for students in the region.
